THE BRIEF

Gill Hillier wanted a simple WordPress website theme to advertise her luxury holiday apartment available to rent in central Bath.

She didn’t want the site to handle online bookings but she did want an availability calendar to show when the apartment was booked or available.

Gill wanted complete control over the website’s content so that she could change pictures, edit any copy and update availability whenever she wanted.

The site had to be easy to use, both from Gill’s point of view and from a site visitor’s point of view.

WHAT I DID

I designed two different layouts for the new website. Gill initially thought she would like a site with two or three very large images and few words. However, in the end she decided to go for a very clean, modern layout with many photographs to showcase her apartment.

The site was up and running very quickly.

Gill learned very quickly how to make changes to the site and is very happy with it.
